Ulster Aviation Society Exhibit and Marquee – Village South

Climb into the cockpit of a Cold War bomber and discover at close quarters the exotic lines of a legendary Spitfire fighter.  Or pack the kids into a helicopter for a photo while they enjoy a ground-bound flight of fancy! Inside the large marquee you’ll discover exhibits which open a window into Northern Ireland’s amazing aviation heritage, with stories of the people who made it all happen.  You’ll find a wide display of books and souvenirs as well to take home and remind you of a great weekend in the realm of flight.  Our attendants are at hand inside and out to guide through that magical world. When your eyes stray from the sky-fest above, be sure to pay us a visit—and bring the children along for a first-hand experience at the aircraft controls.
Also in attendance at the marquee is aviation historian Jonny McNee, with information and authentic exhibits which portray the amazing story of the Donegal Spitfire.
