Air Waves activities are not just all located in Portrush… we have even more entertainment up our sleeves for you all! Come along to Portstewart on Saturday 1st September where there will be an Air Waves concert and an airborne pyrotechnic firework extravaganza!
Air Waves Concert
From 7pm in the Cresent Play Area, The Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council in association with the Morelli family are proud to announce that they have Otis and the Elevators headlining 2018’s concert with support from local duo Villa in France! Otis and the Elevators are renowned for their great renditions of classics and The Ballroom Blitz so head along for a great nights dancing and entertainment!
Portstewart Evening Display
Hosted by Brian Moore, this year the theme of the evening will be the Centenary of the RAF and the important role they have played in our lives. The two aircraft putting on this fantastic display are the Extra 330 flown by Mark Jeffries and the Piper J3 Cub flown by Brendan O’Brien. Mark Jeffries has achieved great success and worldwide recognition as one of the foremost aerobatic aviators in the UK and Brendan has over 202 world records for flying (check him out in the Guinness Book of Records!) so this is not to be missed!
